Ernest E. McGinnis, 92, of Cottonwood, passed away January 15, 2013 at Kachina Point care facility in Sedona, AZ. He was born in Hollis, Oklahoma on Aug 8, 1920. He came to Arizona in the early 1940's to escape the Dust Bowl, eventually settling in the Verde Valley where he remained until his death.
