Tita was born in Calumpit, Bulacan, P.I. on March 24th, 1949 to parents Jose and Gavina Eustaquio. She graduated from Calumpit Institute then earned a degree in teaching from the National Teacher's College. She married Charles Lott on November 28th, 1974 and became a citizen of the United States in 1979. Tita taught elementary school in the Philippines before coming to the United States.
