Emma L. Brown, 84 of Cottonwood, died Jan. 29, 2013 at home. She was born Oct. 11, 1928 in Flushing, Michigan, the daughter of Jesse and Alta Knight. From mid-life through retirement she lived in Rialto, California and worked for many years as an executive secretary for the Loma Linda University School of Public Health Promotion and Education.
